Here's something to think about:

EPA classification says a "compact" car has between 100 and 109 cubic feet of interior volume. (Midsize is 110-119 cu.ft.)

Your engine at redline consumes 200 cubic feet per minute at WOT, no boost (282 CFM at 6 psi boost).

This means if you try to drive with your windows closed, you could draw a complete vacuum in your passenger compartment within less than 30 seconds!

Granted your ventilation system even on recirculate will allow some air into the cabin, but I think you sorely underestimate the quantity of air your engine consumes. My money says if you floor it, at the very least you're going to feel your ears pop. At worst you could be driving on the freeway and start feeling very very sleepy after several minutes.

If you do survive, lets not even begin to think about how loud this is going to be.

i actually had to abondon the "intake tube inside of the cab-trick".it was just too damn loud!!!
it was so loud under full boost, it was actually ear piercing, way too loud.it was soo bad, i didnt want to give it gas or floor it, because it would pierce my ears. maybe for a track condition with my helmet on, ill use it,but will never use it without some sort of ear plugs or helmet!!!
the insight battery is considerably smaller and lighter, maybe half the size and half the weight.

I thought the Insight used and entirely diferent electrical system at like 144 volts or something. It must have a high voltage and low voltage parallel system. Actually, now that I think about it that makes perfect sense. 144 volts would obviously fry any dashboard equipment or lights.

It's early and my cofee hasn't kicked in yet.
